IPM is a simple project management solution built in
PHP4. Inside a project, you can add tasks and
estimated hours. It keeps track of a project-
specific todo list and finished list.
Information regarding Project Releases and Project Resources. Note that the information here is a quote from Freecode.com page, and the downloads themselves may not be hosted on OSDN.
Support for subtasks has been added. You can now add infinite levels of dependency to tasks. Password encryption, form-based authentication, and a new commenting feature have been added.
Replacement of the old theme system by a much nicer CSS system, enabling fractional hours for more accurate time keeping, a new billable option for tasks to keep track of billing for individual users per month, a new "MyTasks" option that shows only the user's tasks and projects, email runs on the PHP mail() function, showing project completion percentages with a little progress meter that doesn't need any external libraries, and several changes to the database to provide more details on users and tasks.
This release contains a total rewrite of the
Javascript code. There is a brand new admin
section, allowing one to add/edit/delete users.
Users can then be added to tasks. It is much more
stable, and has better error checking/correcting.
