Opale is a simple personal finance manager and planning tool. It can work with Qt-only (Linux, Windows, and Mac OS) or KDE (Linux only).
It provides graphs and pie charts. The file format is XML-based.

Miscellaneous fixes were made for bugs, compilation issues, and glitches. The translations for French and Italian were updated. The Italian translation was enabled.
Some last-minute bugs were fixed for this release, but most of the work has focused on testing that Opale compiles and installs correctly on different operating systems (Windows, Gentoo, Ubuntu, Mandriva, Fedora, and OpenSuse).
The recent file dialog on startup is back. The
program was ported and tested under Mac OS.
Session management is handled. A way to edit and
remove templates is provided. Full KDE integration
was completed, and requires KDE 4.2.0 or later.
There is now an easy way to add new categories and
types by using editable combos.
