Pitchtune (Precise Instrument Tweaking for Crispy Harmony tuner) is an
oscilloscope-style musical instrument tuning program. It can also be used to
find the frequency of sounds. Pitchtune uses the GTK+ toolkit.

ALSA support (for capture and playback) was added.
OSS support is still present, but deprecated. The
code was ported to GTK2. Note playback support was
added for ALSA, so you can hear what you tune.
Buttons for moving the note up or down were added.
Shortcuts were added for moving the octave or note
up or down. A shortcut to mute note playback was
added. Shortcuts for menu items were added. A
pitchtune icon was added to the settings and main
window. Oversampling for high frequencies was
added.
