SMBLDAP-TOOLS is a package containing some useful
scripts for managing users and groups with LDAP
and Samba. They can be used to add, delete, and
modify users and groups.

Bugfixes and enhancements were made in many
scripts. New scripts (smbldap-userinfo and
smbldap-userlist) can help administrators and
users to read and modify entries.
The configuration script has been updated. It can also configure
a new parameter userHomeDirectoryMode to set the default
home directory mode. The old directory configuration path ( /
etc/smbldap-tools/) can now be used.
The configuration script has now optional
parameters which are loaded from the Samba
configuration file. A suffix with more or less
than two domain component can be used.
