Tera Term is Tera Term Pro 2.3 succession version and is being officially recognized by the original author. Tera Term is open source free software terminal emulator supporting UTF-8 protocol. Now TTSSH supports SSH2 protocol (Original version supports SSH1).

  • Changes
    • added support for OSC 10 (Change VT window text foreground color), 11 (Change VT window text background color), 15 (Change TEK window text foreground color) and 16 (Change TEK window text background color) control string.
    • added support for OSC 52 (Clipboard access) control string.
      • added the Clipboard access from remote entry on the Additional settings dialog.
    • added support for the control seqeuence to modify the tabstop.
      • added the TabStopModifySequence entry in the teraterm.ini file. The default is on.
    • Broadcast Command: When a user uses the real time mode, the input characters does not show on the edit control.
    • added support for specifying an any browser as the clickable URL.
      • added the ClickableUrlBrowser and ClickableUrlBrowserArg entries in the teraterm.ini file. The default value is empty.

  • Bug fixes
    • The string following after OSC string will not display well.
    • When the cursor is hid, the vertical bar shape can not be shown.
    • When the keyboard has the AltGr key and the MetaKey=on is configured, the invalid character will be input.
    • The zero index of the ANSI color settings can not be loaded.
    • XMODEM: The first packet is sent out twice by using the xmodem sending function.
    • YMODEM: The received file can not be saved.
    • "ifdefined" macro command: When the integer literal is specified, the command mistakenly returns the integer type.

      • Cygterm Here can be launched by the right-click to a opened folder on Windows Vista and 7 later.

  • Changes
    • The control characters(A-_) can be inputed as the password string on the key generator dialog.
    • When the SSH version of the TTSSH does not match the server protocol version, a user can not connect.
    • added the SSHFP RR on the Security Warning dialog.
      • added the "Verify hostkey fingerprint by DNS" checkbox on the "TTSSH: Setup" dialog box.
  • Bug fixes
    • When the server protocol is 1.99, Tera Term will connect with the SSH2 protocol by using the SSH1 specified protocol.
    • When the SSHFP verification is enabled and the SSHFP RR does not query, the application fault will occur.
    • When the user authentication is failure, the user name of the authentication dialog will show the default user name instead of the user input name.
    • When the transfering display number is an integer other than zero, the X11 forwaring does not work well.

    • upgraded !OpenSSL to 1.0.0e

    • OSC 10 (VTウィンドウ文字色変更), 11 (VTウィンドウ背景色変更), 15 (TEKウィンドウ文字色変更), 16 (TEKウィンドウ背景色変更) 制御文字列に対応した。
    • OSC 52 (クリップボードアクセス) 制御文字列に対応した。
      • Additional settings ダイアログでアクセスを許可するか設定(Clipboard access from remote)できるようにした。
    • 許可するタブストップ変更制御シーケンスを設定できるようにした。

    • ブロードキャストコマンドにおいて、リアルタイムモードの場合、キー入力でエディットコントロールに文字が残らないようにした。

    • OSC 文字列の後に続く文字列が正しく表示されない事がある問題を修正した。
    • カーソルが非表示状態の時に、カーソル形状の縦線への変更が正しく行えなかった問題を修正した。
    • AltGr キーが有るキーボードを使用している場合、MetaKey=on の設定の時に余計な文字が入力される場合があった問題を修正した。
    • ANSI Color の 0 番の設定が正しく読み込めない問題を修正した。
    • XMODEM: 送信時、初回のパケットが2回送られる問題を修正した。
    • YMODEM: ファイルを受信したときに、ファイル保存フォルダに保存されない問題を修正した。
    • マクロコマンド "ifdefined" に整数リテラルを渡すと"整数型変数"と判定する問題を修正した。

    • インストーラを修正した。
      • Windows Vista, 7 で、開いたフォルダの右クリックから Cygterm Here を起動できるようにした。
    • TTSSH(2.59)へ差し替えた。

  • 変更
    • 鍵生成ダイアログでパスワードに制御文字(A-_)を入力できるようにした。
    • サーバのプロトコルバージョンと指定した SSH のバージョンが一致しない場合、接続しないようにした。
    • ホスト鍵の確認(セキュリティ警告)ダイアログにDNSのSSHFP RRによる検証結果を表示する機能を追加した。
      • "SSH 設定" ダイアログにチェックボックス(Verify hostkey fingerprint by DNS)を追加した。
  • バグ修正
    • サーバのプロトコルバージョンが 1.99 の場合に、プロトコルに SSH1 を指定しても SSH2 で接続される問題を修正した。
    • ホスト鍵のSSHFP検証を有効にしている時に、SSHFP RR が引けないとアプリケーションエラーになる問題を修正した。
    • 認証に失敗したときに表示される認証ダイアログのユーザ名に、最初に入力したユーザ名ではなくデフォルトのユーザ名が入力される問題を修正した。
    • X11転送で、転送先のディスプレイ番号が0以外の時に正しく転送出来なかった問題を修正した。
