Tera Term is Tera Term Pro 2.3 succession version and is being officially recognized by the original author. Tera Term is open source free software terminal emulator supporting UTF-8 protocol. Now TTSSH supports SSH2 protocol (Original version supports SSH1).

  • Changes
    • TChanged XMODEM options
      • Error detection type(Checksum/CRC) can be specified at sending.
      • Packet size(1K) can be specified at receiving.
      • The xmodemrecv and xmodemsend macro argument is the same.
    • Cancel from remote host at XMODEM transmitter becomes as trasnfer failure.
    • When remote host sends 1K packet against Checksum at XMODEM receiving, Tera Term receives data as Checksum/1K.
    • When remote host sends NAK at XMODEM CRC sending, Tera Term sends data as Checksum.
    • added configuration for XMODEM, YMODEM and ZMODEM timeout value.
      • added the XmodemTimeouts entry in the teraterm.ini file.
      • added the YmodemTimeouts entry in the teraterm.ini file.

    • XMODEM: Send and Receive dialog's option can not be affected each other.

  • Bug fixes

    • XMODEM: When CRC sends, Checksum may send half way incorrectly.
    • Eterm look-feel: When invalid image file is specified as background, an application fault occurs.
    • The return value of random macro command is the deviation of the pseudo random number.
      • The specified maximum value will be a very low probability.
      • When the maximum value is specified as over 32768 number, any value can not be generated.
      • Random generation is used for SFMT.
    • When invalid folder type is specified on the getspecialfolder macro command, the desktop folder is returned by mistake.
    • MACRO: When getipv6addr command is called on Windows 2000, an application _ttpmacro.exe_ fault occurs.

    • upgraded TTSSH to 2.76
    • upgraded CygTerm+ to 1.07_28

    • added support for SSH2 key exchange methods: diffie-hellman-group14-sha256, diffie-hellman-group16-sha512, diffie-hellman-group18-sha512
    • The arc4random() function is changed from OpenSSL'RC4 to ChaCha20 base.

    • upgraded OpenSSL to 1.0.2g

    • XMODEM に指定できるオプションを修正した。
      • 送信時は エラー検出の種類(Checksum/CRC) を指定できる。
      • 受信時は パケットサイズ(1K) を指定できる。
      • xmodemrecv, xmodemsend マクロコマンドの引数も同様。
    • XMODEM 送受信時のリモートからのキャンセルを、転送失敗として扱うようにした。
    • XMODEM 受信時に、Checksum なのに相手が 1K のパケットを送信しきてた場合に Checksum/1K として受信するようにした。
    • XMODEM で CRC 送信時に相手が NAK を送信してきた場合は Checksum として送信するようにした。
    • XMODEM, YMODEM, ZMODEM のタイムアウト値を設定できるようにした。
      • teraterm.ini に XmodemTimeouts エントリを追加した。
      • teraterm.ini に YmodemTimeouts エントリを追加した。

    • XMODEM 送信/受信ダイアログでのオプション選択が、他方のオプション状態に影響しないようにした。

    • OSC 4/11/104/111 制御文字列で BCE 用の情報の更新が反映されない問題を修正した。
    • XMODEM で CRC 送信時に途中から Checksum 送信になってしまうことがある問題を修正した。
    • Eterm look-feel: 不適切な画像ファイルを背景に指定すると、プログラムが落ちる問題を修正した。
    • random マクロコマンドが返す値が偏る問題を修正した。
      • 指定した最大値を返す確率が極めて低かった。
      • 最大値に32768以上を指定した時、絶対に返さない値が有った。
      • 乱数生成に SFMT を利用するようにした。
    • getspecialfolder マクロコマンドで、正しくないフォルダの種類を指定した時にデスクトップフォルダが返される問題を修正した。
    • getipv6addr マクロコマンドを Windows 2000 で実行すると ttpmacro.exe が落ちる問題を修正した。
  • その他
    • TTSSH(2.76)へ差し替えた。
    • CygTerm+ 1.07_28へ差し替えた。

  • 変更
    • SSH2 の diffie-hellman-group14-sha256, diffie-hellman-group16-sha512, diffie-hellman-group18-sha512 鍵交換方式に対応した。
    • 乱数に使う arc4random() 関数の実装を OpenSSL の RC4 を使ったものから ChaCha20 ベースのものに置き換えた。
  • その他
    • OpenSSL 1.0.2gへ差し替えた

  • コマンドラインオプションのパース処理を変更し、パラメータの途中からでも '"' によるクオートを可能にした。

  • -cd オプション(HOME_CHDIR=y) より -d オプションでのディレクトリ指定を優先するようにした。
  • -ls オプション(LOGIN_SHELL=y) の指定時に -d オプションを指定した場合、CHERE_INVOKING=y をセットするようにした。
